Welcome

Hello my name is Anya Trainor and I own Drakon Kennels. Our Prefix was Estabished in 1996.

2010 & 2011 NEW ZEALANDS. NUMBER 1. JAPANESE SPITZ
BEST OF BREED & RISING STAR

We were 'Honoured' to except the below AWARD

'Congratulations!
You have been selected to earn the prestigious Ethical Breeder Award.
This award is given to carefully chosen dog breeders based on their ethical breeding practices and their overall reputation.

Ethical
Breeder
Award for

Japanese

Spitzs

We are a very small selective kennel who are actively showing the Japanese Spitz and working towards improving the Quaility of this wonderful bred, planning all future litters well in advance, which are all house reared in our family home.

I am NZQA qualifed in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing and also Rural Vet Technian.
All our Japanese Spitz puppies are raised with children who give them lots of cuddles (we all need them). They come with a Full Vet health check, vaccination, microchipped wormed, de-flead, nzkc papers and a puppy food pack and a wonderful Information booklet on raising your puppy.

NEW ZEALANDS FIRST & ONLY ''GOLD MERIT'' JAPANESE SPITZ
with CH Drakon Damn right I'm White who is

NUMBER '7' in NEW ZEALANDS NON-SPORTING GROUP this has never been accomplished with any other Japanese Spitz in New Zealand, making History for the bred .

We also are amazingly proud to have won 6 GROUPS this year, which has not been achieved in several years, at an
All Breeds Championship Show in the North Island. This is both extremely exciting and very dissapointing, that this wonderful breed has not been looked at by Judges, as it simply has not been up to standard NZ.
However in saying this, competition in the North Island is Immensely larger, than any show held in the South Island, making it even tougher for us here.
We figurer, it is far too long, to ever wait this length of time again, in obtaining another Group win, making us determined to work harder with this breed.

We also won "1ST PLACE AT NEW ZEALANDS 2011 NATIONAL DOG SHOW "
(SILVER MERIT NZCH Drakon Dman Right I'm White ' Wins' Best Of Breed at all THREE National Shows)

Our kennel is the first & only in New Zealand to obtain Bronze Merits for a Japanese Spitz proudly having
Three Bronze Merits
titled to our kennel.

All Drakon's breeding stock are DNA tested and are stored with an overseas Laboratory, guaranteeing our bloodlines.

We are also Accredited Breeders with this organisation + able to DNA test other breeders dogs for them, please contact me to arrange. All our puppies are microchipped and filed/recorded with the NZKC, ensuring our lines remain pure.

I am committed to breeding sound, healthy Japanese Spitz of excellent type and nature for the Show ring as well as for lovely family pets and enjoy helping and promoting junior handlers where ever possible as they are our future.
